ESG Standards

Toledo Solar only sources materials from North America and European machinery suppliers who adhere to strict ESG standards.

The U.S. government has identified forced labor as an area of concern for the solar supply chain. U.S. solar customers are also increasingly seeking assurances that the products they purchase are truly sustainable and, in particular, free of forced labor. Toledo Solar boasts the most complete ESG friendly, domestically sourced transparent supply chain in the U.S. PV market.

Toledo Solar's Statement on Forced Labor

America must achieve energy security and reach its carbon reduction goals without compromising its values. Unfortunately, the tremendous promise of solar energy has been undermined in recent years by forced labor and coal-burning power plants in the overseas supply chain. This was never acceptable and we must stop turning a blind eye to these facts. We are pleased that this scourge is finally being confronted at the highest levels of finance and government. Forced labor practices have no place in our industry, or our Country’s vital renewable energy supply chain.

Equality in the Work force

We applaud the U.S. Department of Energy for its visionary commitment to aggressively advance the domestic production of CadTel solar glass as a long-term solution to our country’s energy security, creating high-paying jobs right here at home.

America stands at a critical juncture in the push for renewable energy as a matter of national security. Toledo Solar is committed to helping our nation achieve this goal and to do so responsibly.
